Rob Tardik

Rob Tardik is a guitarist from Toronto who plays both nylon-string and electric guitar, blending contemporary jazz with pop, world music and fusion. Releasing his music on the GuiTardik Music label, he started out with Without Words in 2005 and followed it with The Right Time (2009), the home of ‘Flip Flop’, and B.E.L.L. (Balance, Energy, Laughter, Love) in 2011.

Several of his singles have made the US Billboard charts, two of them climbing into the Top 10, and he was named Guitarist of the Year at the 2010 Canadian Smooth Jazz Awards. He also took a first-place award at the 2017 International Acoustic Music Awards. After the album Synergy, he began the four-volume Diversity series in 2020, mixing new material with remastered tracks; Diversity, Vol. 2: Contemporary Funky Jazz features Dave Koz, Phil Denny, Vincent Ingala, Roberto Vally, Paul Brown and Darren Rahn. He has performed on the Dave Koz Cruise, and his eleventh project, Perspective, arrived in 2025.
