Judah Sealy

Judah Sealy is a smooth jazz saxophonist, pianist and producer from Rochester, New York. He began playing the saxophone as a boy while a student at School of the Arts, then earned a music degree from Roberts Wesleyan College in 2007. Sealy built his reputation on the Rochester scene, first as a sideman and later leading his own band, and he also teaches music in the city.

Sealy writes and produces his own albums, among them The Arrival (2015), Welcome Home (2018), Legacy (2020), Soar (2022) and This. Is. JUDAH (2025), and he has produced for his bandmate Deepak Thettu. In 2022 his single “Stylish” went to No. 1 on Billboard’s smooth jazz chart. He has appeared on stage alongside Kirk Franklin, Maze featuring Frankie Beverly and Adam Hawley, and his music draws on gospel, R&B, neo-soul and funk as well as jazz. In 2025 he played the saxophonist Clarence Clemons in the film Springsteen: Deliver Me from Nowhere.
